Evangelist Melanie D. Gilmore was born in Albany, New York and is the oldest daughter of Pastor Betty Gilmore and the late Earlie Gilmore.
Melanie accepted Christ in her life and was filled with the Holy Spirit iat the age of 16. Since 1989, Melanie has been anointed to hold many positions in her local church and the body of Christ including; city wide youth revivals, coordination of youth outreaches and youth administrations.
In 1999, she was ordained as an Evangelist, under the auspices of Pastor Betty Gilmore and Co-Pastor Earl Gilmore of Call to Pray Ministries, Inc. In 2001, Evangelist Melanie was appointed as Co-State and District Youth Director of Northeastern N.Y. of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, under the leadership of International Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton. Recently, Evangelist Melanie has also been appointed by Call to Pray Ministries as Youth Administrator/Counselor of Cry at Midnight, a youth outreach program of Call to Pray Ministries.
Evangelist Melanie has helped many young people find hope, restoration and direction in life. She has the youth at heart, her desire is to see this generation take their rightful place in God. Her vision includes the building of "The Prodigal House," a place of refuge for young people who are hurting and in need, and the completion of her first book, "Stay in the Process
